First aid requirements for the training

 

It is a requirement of the Forest Schools Leadership Training for all participants to qualify in outdoor first aid to pass the course.

 

For those who haven't yet done this training there will be opportunities to do so with 'Remotewest first aid' - see www.remotewestfirstaid.com for details of their courses.

 

Depending on the number of Forest School Leaders requiring training the breakdown of costs with Remote West will be as follows;
 

OPTION 1: 2 day 'open course' at Killary Adventure Company, Leenane, Co. Galway (available to do each month) €120 pp
 

OPTION 2: €740 for 2 day course, plus €20 pp for certs & booklets (cost divided by number of participants - estimated cost of €94, based on 10 participants taking part)
